Having been vegan for over two years now, one of the hardest things to find are faux leather shoes. Now I know what you’re thinking – but don’t you sacrifice quality when shopping faux leather? This is the idea that led two brothers to create the vegan shoe brand Vyom London.

Vyom London started with a goal to create long-lasting, sustainable, and stylish shoes for everyday use. Many faux leathers are made of PVC which contains toxins that are very harmful to the environment. You usually find shoes made of this material in the fast fashion industry at stores like H&M and Zara as it is inexpensive compared to genuine leather. Vyom London uses a much more sustainable material known as Polyurthane which is highly durable for all weather conditions and provides a very realistic imitation to real leather.

Vyom London prides themselves in the quality of craftsmanship put into their products. Each shoe is constructed in the UK by hand using the finest Goodyear Welted process to ensure they last a long time. In an industry where faux leather is viewed as cheap, Vyom London is clearly proving them wrong.

Versatility is something I find important when it comes to clothing purchases. The Tassel Loafer from their Timeless City Collection is the perfect addition to my wardrobe as I am able to wear them for any occasion. Dressed up or dressed down, it’s safe to say these will be a part of the rotation for a long time to come.

Vyom London has set a new standard for the fashion industry. I believe animal-free fashion is the way of the future as so many designers are already moving towards faux furs. Sustainability is becoming more important and people are starting to realize the negative impacts of using leather. Vyom London is fashion as nature intended.
